It’s finally here. Election night 2020!

Below you can find an easy-to-read spreadsheet with returns on ballot races that CFB took a position on this year.

What to Expect on Election Night

By all accounts, it will probably be a long night. In Colorado, many of the ballot races are very close in the polls and will probably not be called until closer to 9 p.m. or later. Denver tends to report results later in the evening so even initiatives that show returns trending on way, may change as Denver precincts report their results later in the evening.

On the national stage, the Presidential race may be close in several key battleground states including Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. News networks will be cautious about calling races one way or the other without solid evidence and will probably require a higher level of counties reporting than they have in the past.

One thing is for certain, ignore exit polls.

This year’s ballot is a full one. With 11 initiatives, a presidential election and a contentious U.S. Senate race, Coloradans will be making some pretty big decisions. Check out the Voter Guide below to learn what positions CFB has taken on a few of the issues.
