Young agriculturalists have many issues to navigate through, making it difficult to sort through the clutter and find key information in a timely way. They are pulled in a million different directions — from the operation, kids, family and even other jobs. Working on a farm or ranch is a never-ending job. That’s why the Colorado Farm Bureau YF&R Committee created “Choppin’ it up,” a new series that breaks down current issues that the agriculture community is facing.

Whether our youngest members have been on their operation for a while, or they’re just working through the first Spring, this series will help share news and helpful resources that make it easier to be a young farmer or rancher.

During the last session, Divina Willbanks, Pueblo County Farm Service Agency, shared tips and tricks for young agriculturalists looking for funds to start/run their operations.

Choppin’ it up will continue to host sessions on various topics throughout the upcoming months. Stay tuned for more information!
