Centennial, Colo. – Colorado Farm Bureau has recognized four Colorado legislators for their work advocating and fighting for Colorado agriculture. Honorees of the Colorado Farm Bureau Pinnacle Award include Senator Kevin Grantham, Senator Dominick Moreno, Representative Jeni Arndt and Representative Hugh McKean.

“We are proud to honor these policy leaders for the work they have done in support of Colorado farm and ranch families,” CFB President Don Shawcroft said.

After every two-year legislative term, Colorado Farm Bureau recognizes honorees who showed their willingness to advocate on behalf of farmers and ranchers and whose decisions align with Colorado Farm Bureau policies and priorities. They are recognized through the Colorado Farm Bureau Pinnacle Awards.

The award is presented to one legislator from each party in each chamber to recognize their support on issues vital to Colorado agriculture. The award is presented every two years, at the end of the legislative cycle.

“Agriculture is vital to Colorado’s economy. Without advocates for the industry in the legislature, our farmers and ranchers cannot feed and clothe the world,” Shawcroft said. “We are thankful for all that these excellent legislators have done for Colorado agriculture.”

Honorees will be presented with their awards at the 2018 Colorado Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on November 17th at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton.
