For the second year in a row, Colorado Farm Bureau has been recognized as one of the top places to work by the Denver Business Journal. Moving up one place from last year, the group took home a 5th place trophy in the small company category.

“This acknowledgment is a way to celebrate with the outside world what CFB staff members already know…we’re a great place to work,” said Shawn Martini, CFB’s Vice President of Advocacy. “Everyone on staff is empowered to implement programs and projects that benefit Colorado farmers and ranchers. All of us truly do our best, and we’re lucky to have so much support from one another, our board and our membership.”

Finalists were chosen on a variety of factors including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. Over 500 guests attended the awards ceremony and included local businesses from a variety of sectors and industries.

“It’s a great team and a great place to go every day,” continued Martini. “I’m so glad that this great group of staff, friends and family have the opportunity to receive the recognition they deserve from the broader business community.”

The application process included questionnaires that were distributed to individual staff members about the work environment at the organization. Scores were then tallied and compared before the finalists were chosen. Finalists gathered at Top Golf in Centennial, CO where rankings were revealed.
