Tell Colorado Senators to Keep Public Lands Open to ALL Uses
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Protecting America’s Wilderness and Public Lands Act. Now it’s on to the Senate.
Included in this multi-bill legislative package are two measures, sponsored by Colorado legislators, that limit activities and could make nearly 2 million acres of Colorado’s land inaccessible. This would have a major impact on our ability to manage for fires, access grazing permits and produce minerals.
For rural Colorado, these lands aren’t just for recreation. They make up our livelihoods. They support local economies. They ensure the viability of our national resources for the future.
Reach out to our Colorado Senators TODAY and tell them to Vote No on Protecting America’s Wilderness and Public Lands Act and ensure Colorado’s public lands are maintained and accessible for ALL uses.
Colorado just came off of a year of devastating wildfires and declining economy, let’s not cause more damage.
