Colorado Farm Bureau is excited to announce a new sponsorship with Nutrien who will provide monetary support for the Colorado Farm Bureau YF&R program as well as the Health and Safety program.
“Nutrien is happy to sponsor programs offered by Colorado Farm Bureau! We strive to make meaningful contributions to the communities we live and operate in,” says Holly Nequette, Advisor from Nutiren. “Nutrien is committed to safety and ensuring the future of the agricultural industry, much like CFB; so the sponsorship was an easy decision.”
The sponsorship dollars will fund county YF&R events across the state that target producers under the age of 35 by providing them with the tools necessary to succeed. These tools often include, networking, improving leadership skills, helping members stay informed and up-to-date on industry-related news. Additionally, the sponsorship will help fund the YF&R Leadership Conference, two full days of interactive sessions that host over 70 Young Farmers and Rancher across the state.
Every November, YF&R hosts the Annual Discussion Meet competition for YF&R as well as CFB college students. The sponsorship will help cover costs to train the young agriculture professionals who plan to compete and help equip them for success and strengthen Colorado’s competitiveness at the national level.
