Wolf Compensation Bill Goes to House Floor, Tell Legislators to Vote YES!

The Wolf Depredation Compensation Fund ensures ranchers are compensated for loss of livestock due to wolves.

WHY IT MATTERS: Depredation payments were required under Prop. 114 and is one of the most important issues our livestock owners are facing.

This bill creates a stand-alone fund that sets aside funding to only be used for depredation claims, allocates an annual appropriation from the general fund, and sets out reporting criteria for DNR to the Joint Agriculture Committee each year.
