2020 CFB Annual Meeting

This year’s annual meeting will be a one-day business meeting, hosted at the National Western Complex. The Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel (same great hotel as last year!) will be utilized for accommodations and as a headquarters. The tentative schedule will include the general and business sessions, caucus meetings, policy development, elections and an awards program.

CFB is working hard to ensure that the annual meeting is as productive and meaningful. This year has given us all a lesson in flexibility, especially understanding and following the ever-changing local health ordinances. To do this, it is important that counties provide registration information as early as possible. Plans can change at a moment’s notice, 2020 has sure proved that, so we will be as flexible as possible to accommodate substitute delegate changes. Please note the calendar below for important deadlines. If you have any questions, please reach out to staff any time, or contact your county president or district board representative.

Key dates and deadlines:

October 30: State Resolutions Committee and the deadline to turn in delegate registrations. Counties may register online here.

November 4: Last day to reserve a room at the Denver Renaissance Central Park Stapleton. Reserve your hotel room here.
The room rate is $99++. This rate expires November 4th. Please note, the rate has been significantly discounted from our previous contract.

November 21: State Annual Meeting business session, caucus meetings, policy development, elections and awards.

Please note: City of Denver’s Face Covering Order

On Oct. 16 the City of Denver issues a Public Health Order requiring face coverings in both indoor and outdoor public places when around others outside of your household. Face coverings are defined as: “a covering made of cloth, fabric, or other soft or permeable material, without holes, that covers the nose and mouth and surrounding areas of the lower face.”

Please note that because of this order, and the statewide face covering order, masks will be required at all times during annual meeting at the National Western Complex.

Read the full face covering order here.
