The Awards of Excellence are a way to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our county farm bureaus and recognize them for their hard work and dedication to Colorado agriculture.
Every year, county farm bureaus do amazing work to help advocate for the members and support them in many different ways. The Awards of Excellence are a way to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our county farm bureaus and recognize them for their hard work and dedication to Colorado agriculture.
Counties may apply for awards in six categories:
Policy Implementation
Local Affairs
Communication/Outreach
Leadership Development
Membership Initiatives
New Horizon
This is a great opportunity for counties to share the work that they’re doing and not only receive recognition, but also inspire other counties to follow their example.
The first level of recognition is an Award of Excellence. Awards of Excellence can be given for each Activity Program Area that the judges deem deserving of recognition.
The second level of recognition is the President's Award. Designations shall be given to the most outstanding entry for each Activity Program Area.Â
The Silver Award (traveling Trophy) is determined by the top cumulative score from all 5 Activity Program Areas.
The deadline to apply for the 2026 County Awards of Excellence is October 9.
