Volunteer Price Checkers Needed!

Every year, American Farm Bureau’s Thanksgiving Dinner Cost Survey helps tell the story of food affordability and the value farmers and ranchers provide to America’s families.

Volunteer price checkers are invited to collect local grocery prices for a traditional Thanksgiving meal serving 10 people, including a whole turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, pumpkin pie mix and more.

You can participate by:

  • Using a grocery retailer’s website

  • Using a grocery store mobile app

  • Visiting your local grocery store in person

The survey is open from Sunday, November 1 thru Thursday, November 5. Submit your results at FB.Org/TurkeySurvey.

Participating takes just 10-15 minutes and helps ensure food prices in your community are

reflected in a nationwide snapshot of Thanksgiving meal costs.

Colorado Farm Bureau will provide an overview of Thanksgiving survey results in Colorado the week before Thanksgiving
